AACT is now accepting nominations for its Board of Directors. Nominations are open through March 17, 2026.
The organization is seeking thoughtful and engaged leaders who are passionate about community theatre and interested in helping guide the future of the organization. Board members play an important role in providing leadership, direction, and oversight while helping shape policies and goals that support AACT’s mission and members nationwide.
AACT is especially interested in candidates with experience in areas such as fundraising, marketing, administration, youth theatre, financial planning and accounting, education, legal, and technical theatre and production, though individuals with other relevant leadership experience are also encouraged to be considered.
Members of the AACT community are invited to nominate individuals who would bring valuable perspective, expertise, and dedication to the Board. Self-nominations are also welcome.
Serving on the AACT Board is an opportunity to contribute to the continued growth and success of community theatre across the country while helping guide the direction of the national organization.
