National & Local Award Recognition
In order to honor those who have contributed significantly to community theatre, AACT bestows three major types of recognition: AACT Fellows, National Awards, and local Spotlight Awards. National Awards and Fellows recognition are annual, while Spotlight Awards may be presented at any time.

AACT FELLOWS
The designation “AACT Fellow” is bestowed for life upon those members of AACT who, over a period of years, have contributed significantly to the idea and ideal of community theatre.
NATIONAL AWARDS
AACT honors individuals and organizations with major national recognition for leadership, service, and achievement in community theatre.
SPOTLIGHT AWARDS
Recognition of special local achievement by individuals, companies, or organizations through member theatres. Nominations may be submitted at any time.
SERVICE AWARDS
AACT is grateful for the contributions and dedication of its board, volunteers, committee members, and staff, honored through service pins and awards.
