AACTFest 2027
About AACTFest

AACTFest is the American Association of Community Theatre's National Community Theatre Festival, bringing together outstanding productions and theatre makers from across the country for performances, workshops, and connection.
Each AACTFest represents the culmination of a two-year journey through AACT's state and regional festival network. Companies earn their place on the national stage by receiving top recognition in their region, creating a showcase that reflects some of the strongest work happening in community theatre today.
Beyond the performances, AACTFest is a full festival experience featuring educational workshops, networking opportunities, exhibits, adjudications, social events, and special programs that support theatre artists, administrators, technicians, volunteers, and community theatre leaders at every level.
Whether you're participating as a performer, director, technician, volunteer, adjudicator, or audience member, AACTFest offers an inspiring opportunity to celebrate excellence in community theatre while building lasting friendships and exchanging ideas with theatre makers from across the nation.
