AACT NewPlayFest was created to develop new original work and inspire communication, collaboration, and excitement among community theatres.
Over each two-year cycle, playwrights submit their plays to AACT for consideration, and the winning scripts receive world premiere productions. Following each festival cycle, the winning plays are published in anthologies by Dramatic Publishing Company.
