Oregon and Washington Playwrights--Call for Submissions—Majestic 8 10-Minute Play Festival
The Majestic Theatre in Corvallis, Oregon, announces the 2024 Majestic 8 10-Minute Play Festival showcasing eight short plays written by playwrights from Oregon and Washington. We are looking for NEW (unproduced) plays with 2-5 characters that can be performed in 10 minutes or less with a simple set and minimal light/sound requirements. Your play must include the phrase, “Third Time’s a Charm” somewhere in the dialog.
Submissions (one per playwright, please) will be accepted January 1-February 25, 2024. We will select eight winning plays to be performed on Friday, June 14, and Saturday, June 15, 2024 in the Majestic Lab Theatre. There is no fee to submit. Playwrights agree to have their work presented with no compensation.
Deadline for submission is February 25, 2024. Winning plays will be announced early April 2024.
