AACT Dramaturgy Boot Camp | AACT

AACT Dramaturgy Boot Camp

Part seminar, part workshop, AACT’s Dramaturgy Boot Camp introduces the basic concepts of dramaturgy by exploring the intersection of analysis, critical thinking, and writing. Participants will learn to apply these skills to production through the writing (and revising) of theme explorations, marketing blurbs, program notes, and other audience engagement opportunities.
After reading all the selected scripts, participants will choose one to focus on for their coursework. The class allows for small and large group collaboration and valuable feedback from both facilitators and peers.
