Theatre Three Off-Stage/On-Line

In an effort to present content in a unique way, Theatre Three, Port Jefferson, is seeking short plays to be produced as part of a series of online works. Since its inception in April, the company has produced and posted fifty pieces, with a total of over 22,000 views. Ideally, the pieces are written or re-conceived for an online platform. We hope that writers will see the constraints of the format as a way to tell stories in a different way.
The Plays:
Should run 5 to 20 minutes.
Should require no more than 12 actors.
Will be rehearsed and taped on Zoom.
Will be posted on Theatre Three’s website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.
Should be submitted as pdfs with title and author: THE PLAY Author Name
Playwrights may make multiple submissions in a single email. This is an open-ended project. Previously produced works are eligible for this project.
Selected works will received a $25 stipend; playwrights will retain all rights to future productions.
