Are you a musical theater maker, lyricist, composer, or storyteller? Is your passion for the theater boundless, and your melodies are ready to be unveiled to the world? If your answer is a resounding YES, then you've just stepped into a symphony of opportunities at the BroadWorld Musical Theatre Song Contest!
🌆 Imagine... the glitz and glamour of Los Angeles, the epicenter of entertainment, beckoning you to join its illustrious stage. Your musical masterpiece could soon echo through the corridors of a world-class studio, in the company of renowned sound engineers and producers, dedicated to make your masterpiece. This extraordinary experience is worth over $3,000 and could be yours for FREE!
RULES OF SUBMISSION
At the heart of this contest is the celebration of musical storytelling, which is why we have some unique rules to encourage your artistic expression:
Part of a Larger Project: All submitted songs must be part of a larger project, whether it's a complete musical play or a concept you're developing. We want to see your songs in the context of a broader narrative.
MP3 Files: Please upload your songs in mp3 format. We are not concerned with production quality; we're seeking songs that tell a compelling story. You may also link your submissions via a third party platform like YouTube or Google Drive.
Demos and Home Recordings: Demos and home recordings are warmly welcomed. We're interested in the essence of your composition, not the polished finish.
Open to All Genres: We embrace all genres and song structures, be it solos, duets, ensemble pieces, or any other form. Diversity is the key to musical innovation.
Artistry: Alongside musical quality, the winning song will excel in the following areas:
Quality lyrical storytelling
Quality musical storytelling
Artistic license and creativity
A clear purpose within the story progression of the play

At BroadWorld Musical Theatre Song Contest, your artistic endeavors won't go unnoticed. We have some incredible prizes lined up for the top contenders:
3rd Place Winner: Custom award plaque
2nd Place Winner: Custom award plaque
1st Place Winner: Custom award plaque + 4 HOURS OF PROFESSIONAL STUDIO TIME WITH A RENOWNED PRODUCER AND A DEDICATED SOUND ENGINEER in Los Angeles (Flight included for contestants outside of LA!)*
The 1st Place Winner will have the opportunity to bring their creation to life in a professional studio. Our expert producers and sound engineers will meticulously craft your project, providing up to 5 revisions. This invaluable service, valued at over $3,000, is offered as a prize to the winner, free of charge. You are free to choose any song or any musical project. Your studio time does not have to be related to your submission.
Submission Fee: To enter your masterpiece, there is a submission fee of $25 per song.

*If the winners are unable to travel to Los Angeles, we will do our best to connect them with a studio in their local area. If this is not feasible, the studio prize will be transferred to the 2nd Place Winners. Winners are responsible for their own travel arrangements, including documents and accommodation. However, we'll cover your flight/train/bus fare if you're joining us from afar!
