Oregon and Washington Playwrights--Call for Submissions—Majestic 8 10-Minute Play Festival
The Majestic Theater in Corvallis, Oregon, announces the 2025 Majestic 8 10-Minute Play Festival showcasing eight short plays written by playwrights from Oregon and Washington.
We are looking for NEW (unproduced) plays with 2-5 characters that can be performed in 10 minutes or less with a simple set and minimal light/sound requirements.
Submissions (one per playwright, please) will be accepted October 1-December 15, 2024. We will select eight winning plays to be performed on March 22, 2025, on the main stage of the Majestic Theatre in Corvallis, Oregon. There is no fee to submit. Playwrights agree to have their work presented with no compensation.
In order to be considered:
First, READ this important information found on the Majestic Theatre website (link below) and email us ([email protected]) with any questions.
Then, SUBMIT your play as a Word document using the Submission Form.

Deadline for submission is midnight, Pacific time, December 15, 2024. Winning plays will be announced in late January 2025.
