The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, work well under pressure, and possess a positive and creative energy. This position serves to keep the company running smoothly and is the go-to person for staff and the public.
Responsibilities include contract fulfillment, arranging artist travel and housing, serving as point of contact with outside vendors, and processing payroll. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the GM may also act as the company’s Health and Safety Supervisor, which oversees compliance with new health and safety protocols. Experience with union contracts and basic operations of theater management preferred. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, QuickBooks, and Tessitura a plus.
This position is a senior staff member reporting to the Artistic and Managing Directors, full-time with benefits, including vacation and participation in company’s health and pension plans.
